17 Email List Building Tips | John Ioannis Divramis





Hello! Here are some tips l follow to build my own email list. Enjoy!

1. Build a newsletter, if you don't have, choose getresponse or aweber, or any other email list service.

2. Add a subscription form to every page of your website.

3. Offer an ebook free as an incentive to subscribe. If you cannot create an ebook, don't mind, there are plenty of free ebooks offered on the internet with PLR rights, PLR stands for public free.


4. Offer a product discount for purchasers who subscribe to your newsletter or bonus coupons, such as google advertising coupon, or something similar.

5. Conduct a webinar for which your visitors must register. On the registration form, ask for permission to send them future mailings. Personally l dislike webinars, they are very destructive, however it is a very unique way to gain credentials and rapport.

6. Create a squeeze page designed solely to capture new subscribers. Beware not on be very fancy

7. Find hundreds or even thousands of relevant keywords with services like google adword tool, and then promote your squeeze page using PPC(pay-per-click)advertising, such as google adwords. If you don't have a google adword account its about time to get one.

8. Track the effectiveness of your advertising and test changes with split testing. Always keep testing.

9. Start a free blog with WordPress or Blogger. It’s another way to communicate with your visitors and nicely complements your  list building.

10. Keep your blog readers notified of new posts when they sign up for updates. This has a a triple benefit: build your email list, maintain relationships with your readers, and get more traffic to your blog.
11. Submit your newsletter to ezine and newsletter directories.

12. Add your newsletter sign-up link to your email signature. If you don't have an email signature, then you can get one for free from wise stamp.

13. Submit articles to Article Directories like GoArticles, SubmitYourArticle or EzineArticles. Include  your personal bio box at the bottom with a link to your website or the email address to be added instantly. This works!

14. Add video to your squeeze page. Not only can you speak to your prospective subscribers, but even point where the subscription form is located on your webpage. Subscribers have too see your face first.

15. Create an informative PDF report on your business topic. Only a few pages of useful content are needed for a report.

16. Research similar websites and newsletters with Google Blog Search. Post relevant, helpful comments with a trackback to your blog or squeeze page. Be careful, this would be considered a scam!

AND

17. Get more traffic to your website. Even if your opt-in percentage doesn’t change, this will automatically result in more subscribers.
